FAQs
-
Yes, the main thing to remember is to keep this area neat and clean.
-
Buyers want to know if you have kept your home clean. With pets there is the risk of problems with urine, fleas or pet hair. It is important to have your carpets professionally cleaned before putting your house on the market and remove all traces of pets.
-
This is a popular question and hard to pronounce. My response is usually, a group of items, best in odd numbers like 3 or 5, which are used to decorate coffee tables, bedside tables and kitchen benchtops for example. They help buyers to imagine a life in your home.
-
Wherever possible we aim to use what you already have. In some cases, additional items may be suggested to increase buyer appeal. These can be borrowed from family or friends or we will provide budget friendly ideas and outlets.
-
A trained occupied property stylist does not have an emotional connection to your home. That means they will be thinking about how a buyer looks around each space, where they will walk, and how they will feel. You have lived in your place and have arranged everything to suit the way that you live but this may not necessarily suit how a buyer sees each space. A property stylist is a trained set of eyes to help you present your property to best suit the needs of your prospective buyer.
-
It depends on each property. Some homes require painting and new flooring such as carpets.
